Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know how the couponing thing is going! Well, tonight I was lucky enough to steal away by myself and do a little grocery shopping. So I hit up Smith's and Safeway. I tried to match up coupons with sales, and also take advantage of a couple promotions going on. I will post a photo and more detailed information on Melissa's Blog tomorrow, but I'm so excited I just had to share. Tonight after I tallied up my receipts from both stores, the total came to 272.53. But did I pay that much? NO!! The out-of-pocket amount I paid after coupons and promotions was actually 110.87! That's a savings of about 60%. (I came out under my 2-week budget, leaving enough cash for the perishables/things I might need until next payday.) I gotta say, I am pretty pumped. Not only am I stocked up on tampons until I hit menopause, the cupboards are spilling over with deodorant and toothpaste that all ended up being FREE. I'm serious. Coupons are amazing. If you're not convinced yet that you should be using coupons, then.... then.... um, then you should be. :) Happy shopping!

I love coupons too! Aren't they the greatest! You just want to tell everyone about them because it is such a rush!!!:)
Dang it... if you are saving that much I might actually have to try this. Crap. I'm so lazy so this might be a stretch.

Mas aqui na Alemanha ainda nao sei como usar os cupons hahahah.

I love coupons!! :) It takes a lot of time and energy to be really good at it though. I am only pretty good at it. I learned from some psycho couponers in Boise and probably needed a few more lessons before I moved away, but there are some true hoarders out there! I'll go check out your site!
