Oh Camera, my Camera, I miss you so much.
Where art thine buttons I so wish to touch?
My life seems so empty without you around.
I miss your fun, cute little "turning-on" sound.
The boys, they are growing, and you're missing out.
How could you leave us? I'm starting to pout!
I can't take you with me on my morning jog.
(Oh yeah, I don't jog.)
I can't take cool photos to put on my blog!
Your absence has been such a terrible curse.
I'm sorry for throwing you in my messy purse,
And leaving your case on the living room table.
I should have just grabbed it... I'm perfectly able.
But now I shall learn to be careful next time,
So I don't end up writing this sad, silly rhyme.
I promise to take better care, I'm not jokin'.
So next time you won't end up getting all broken.

Katie you are so stinkin talented! I love this poem you wrote for your poor camera! You might think it's something you just threw together, but it does take talent and creativity! You're awesome!
You are too stinkin' funny! Seriously... without my camera I would die! I would have to go and by the cheap throw away ones at least! I hope your camera gets fixed soon! Love you!
HaHa poor camera, I love the new background and family photo! you guys are a beautiful family
lol!!! You always make me laugh.
How sad! Sounds like you better try and get another one soon. I cant imagine not having a camera at my disposal every day. Very cute Katie:)
haha very funny poem and quite clever I might add. Yes I did take a 2 month hiatis while I was on vacay but I am now back and ready to blog so be prepared to read. I did btw get to see mel and her new baby and I happened to run into Brooke at Target but it was right before I headed out to Cali so we didn't get to get together. Maybe next time. Thanks for the thoughts makes me feel like someone actual enjoys the little things in my life.
I'm sure you have one of those fancy schmancy cameras that everyone is carrying around. Me....stuck with a point and shoot. My goal is to take more pictures now that my kids are grown and gone. (I know. I'm a lame mom) I guess it's never too late?
