Well, my Dad never gets killed. The bad guys will never kill Dad. That's a bad idea."
Hmmm.... Dad, what are you letting my child watch on T.V. while I am gone?
And if that's not disturbing enough, today I overheard Noah playing pretend. His dialogue went like this, (He's telling this to his cousin Jaylee. She is his pretend friend when she isn't around.)
"Jaylee. My parents are both dead. So I don't have parents anymore. My Grandma and Grandpa are my new parents. I call them Mom and Dad."
What in the world???
And then I realized a few weeks ago when cousin Ayden came over, all he talked about was being dead and getting buried. He'd say to Noah, "Okay. Now I kill you and you die so I can bury you in the grave. Then you kill me and I die and you hafta bury me in the grave, okay?"
Are all little boys morbid like this??
(Oh, and if you aren't going to say "yes," then just don't tell me.)

NO, just the one's who have cops for dad's and that is what they hear the dad's talk about. And every boy wants to be like thier dad! I hate it and wish that I could get them to talk about butterflies and and hair ties but I am out numbered and out of ideas.
Its a boy thing. I remember when Caleb was 3 and WAY into Harry Potter and Star Wars, that all I heard come out of his mouth was blood, guts and glory. I dont think boys ever grow out of it either!
Grant had a few little boys in his primary class that all they would talk about was death. They were so fascinated by people dying. I wouldn't be too worried, and I am dying over the Lybrook Family comment because these same little boy LOVED Harry Potter and Star Wars.
We went to visit the Conference center when Trey was about 3 or 4. Someone was practicing the organ. Trey asked the guide if the organist was going to kill us. I think the music reminded him of Phantom of the Opera. So yes boys are morbid!
